I was born, raised, and currently live in Upton, Utah. I developed a passion for heritage and culture being raised on our family farm. In 2019, I retired after working 30 years for Summit County Government. Mother of two boys and two grandchildren. I am looking forward to being involved in NS Unite finding ways of linking our past to our future.

Heather has been a community resident for over 25 years. Originally from Florida, she settled in Hoytsville in 2000. Heather brings a wealth of knowledge in performing and cultural arts, as well as professional experience in business development, finance, and leadership. Her love for theater began as a child watching Broadway plays and evolved into family interest as she and her husband cultivated a love for theater and dance in their four children.

I love living in Wanship. My favorites include my grandchildren, time in the mountains, theater productions, and good music. I recognize the important role that arts and culture play in enhancing the quality of community life and individual wellbeing. Gregg is a Utah native and has made Henefer his home for 23 years of his life. He was practically raised on cross-country skis, but also loves downhill skiing, hiking, and bicycling. He has worked as an educator for most of his life and has taught piano since he was a teenager. A recent widower, Gregg feels empathy toward others who struggle with their own personal trials and those helping loved ones as they struggle through challenges. He has long loved this community and is looking forward to helping preserve its rich culture and develop new, enriching traditions.

Chantal is a first-generation Latina and lifelong Coalville resident who cares deeply about her community. She’s passionate about equity, mental wellness, and creating spaces where art, culture, and connection can thrive. Through local events and outreach, she works to bring people together and strengthen the North Summit community.

Hazel is passionate about the performing arts, especially music, where she dedicates much of her time and energy. Whether she’s performing, teaching, or supporting others, the arts are at the heart of her life. Outside of music, Hazel values time with her family and loves making memories together on vacations, exploring new places and enjoying simple moments. Her life blends creativity, connection, and adventure. 

I became part of the Coalville community in 2007 when I married my husband, Jay. I am a mom to two grown daughters, two grandchildren and part of a big blended Wood/Ison family. I have a special love for the area's historic buildings and the stories they hold. I'm excited to work with NS Unite and help create a place to preserve, promote, and celebrate the unique culture of our area.
